From Box to Recording in an Afternoon.
The cameras are mounted at your chosen locations and connected to the DVR using the included CCTV cables. Each cable has two cores — one for video (coaxial) and one for power — running from each camera back to the DVR. At the DVR end, the power leads connect to the 1-to-4 power splitter, which then connects to the power adapter. The video leads plug directly into the DVR’s BNC inputs. The DVR itself connects to its own power adapter and to a monitor using the included HD cable, giving you a live view of all four cameras the moment you power on.
The DVR records continuously to the pre-installed 500GB hard drive — 24/7 or event-triggered, depending on your preference. The entire system operates completely without internet: local live viewing and full video playback are available directly on the connected monitor at any time. For remote viewing on a smartphone via the free mobile app, simply connect the DVR to your internet router using the included network cable and complete the one-time app setup.
