The Elder 3K Solar Security Camera is a wire-free security solution for homes and businesses with 3K (5MP) video, approximately 160° diagonal field of view, up to 8X digital zoom, solar charging, 7800mAh rechargeable batteries, smart detection, and encrypted local storage. Proudly designed in Canada, it provides reliable monitoring without a mandatory monthly subscription.
Each camera can deliver up to 180 days of use on a full charge based on approximately 10 events per day. An additional solar panel can be connected to each camera via USB-C if needed, helping boost charging performance in locations with limited sunlight.
The cameras support PIR motion detection, AI person detection, AI sound detection, custom activity zones, two-way audio, infrared night vision, color night vision with spotlight, and motion-activated light and siren deterrence, with flexible wall or ceiling mounting and IP66 weather resistance. Operating temperature is −20°C to 50°C (−4°F to 122°F).
Each camera includes 64GB of local storage, expandable up to 512GB with supported microSD storage. The camera supports up to approximately 240 days of event loop recording, depending on storage capacity and usage. Local recordings are encrypted, while optional cloud storage is available separately.
The camera uses H.265 video compression and connects directly to your WiFi router using dual-band 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi.
The mobile app supports live remote viewing, smart event playback, two-way talk, family and device sharing, and simultaneous viewing of up to 4 cameras on one screen. The camera also works with compatible Alexa and Google Assistant devices for smart-home access.
