SecoMart provides a limited hardware warranty on Elder-brand security cameras, recorders, and security systems purchased directly from SecoMart. New products are covered by a one (1) year limited hardware warranty, while certified open-box products are covered by a six (6) month limited hardware warranty. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase. To request warranty service, customers must first contact SecoMart Support to obtain a Warranty Authorization Email. This authorization email will include all required instructions and return details. Products returned without a Warranty Authorization Email will not be accepted and may be lost or discarded. SecoMart is not responsible or liable for any items shipped without prior authorization. A valid original receipt and invoice are required for all warranty claims.

This warranty does not cover the following: (1) products marked as “sample,” “replacement,” or “not for sale”; (2) products with labels, trademarks, serial numbers, tags, or stickers that have been removed, altered, or tampered with; (3) damage caused by abuse, abrasion, misuse, improper handling, improper storage, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, disassembly, fluctuations, or any use other than the product’s intended purpose; (4) damage resulting from dismantling, mishandling, improper use, or defacement; (5) components and accessories included in the original packaging, including but not limited to cables, storage devices, adapters, batteries, solar panels, chargers, screws, tools, wearable items, and consumables; (6) any upgrades, repairs, or modifications performed without prior authorization or without guidance from an authorized technician; (7) damage caused by improper care, accidents, or unsuitable operating environments, including improper temperature, severe weather, humidity, unusual physical conditions, or natural material degradation over time; (8) products that have been opened, inspected, repaired, upgraded, or otherwise tampered with without authorization or by unauthorized technicians; (9) damage caused by electrical stress or interference, power surges, power outages, static electricity, use of incorrect power adapters, or fluctuations or failures of electrical power; (10) technician fees or labor costs; (11) service, installation, setup, or configuration services; (12) damage resulting from force majeure events, natural disasters, or other events beyond reasonable control; and (13) warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

- All products submitted for warranty service will be thoroughly inspected by SecoMart upon receipt to determine whether they meet the warranty eligibility criteria. If a product is found not to comply with the warranty policy, repair or replacement services may be subject to additional charges. In cases where the technical department determines that a return is required for warranty evaluation or service, the product must be returned to SecoMart. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, both to and from SecoMart, and assume all risk of loss or damage during transit. Any replacement product provided under warranty may be new, refurbished, or reconditioned and will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or the minimum period required by law, whichever is longer.

- SecoMart shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. This warranty does not cover any costs related to product removal, replacement, labor, setup, or installation, nor does it cover data loss or any expenses associated with data recovery. SecoMart makes no warranty that the products, software, or applications provided will operate without interruption or will be free from defects, errors, anomalies, or viruses. SecoMart is not responsible for interruptions, limitations, or termination of software, firmware, cloud services, mobile applications, internet connectivity, or third-party services that may affect product functionality.

- Products from brands other than Elder are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Warranty service for these products is provided directly by the manufacturer, and customers are required to contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty claims or support.

- This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by SecoMart. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all other express or implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by province or jurisdiction. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or limit any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. prevention of loss, theft, damage, personal injury, or emergencies. SecoMart is not an insurer and shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use or failure of the products.

- SecoMart reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply.
